Inuit Art in Igloolik
Many of the Igloolik artists work in here:
- make large size scultptures
- work with unpolished stone
- use light green stone from nothern Baffin Island
One of Celina Iyyiraq's paintings was recently purchased by the Canada Council. The Canada Council Art Bank purchased 71 works by Aboriginal artists from across the country to enhance its collection and celebrate its 30th anniversary and the 45th anniversary of the Canada Council.
